Incumbent House of Representatives member Anamero Dekeri has commended the oratory skills and legislative contributions of Senator Adams Oshiomhole, describing him as one of the most articulate voices on the floor of the National Assembly.
Addressing APC party leaders earlier today across Etsako East, Central and West at LGA party Secretariats, Dekeri praised Oshiomhole’s interventions during Senate debates, noting that his command of issues, clarity of thought, and persuasive delivery have elevated the quality of deliberations in the upper chamber. He noted the former Edo State governor has consistently demonstrated a rare blend of experience and conviction in addressing national matters.
According to Dekeri, Oshiomhole’s contributions go beyond rhetoric, as his arguments often reflect a deep understanding of governance, economic realities, and the needs of ordinary Nigerians. The lawmaker added that the Senator’s background in labour activism continues to shape his approach to policy discussions, particularly on issues affecting workers and social welfare.
“Oshiomhole brings energy and depth to debates. His ability to break down complex national issues into relatable perspectives makes him stand out among his peers,” Dekeri said, adding that such qualities are essential for effective lawmaking.
He further noted that Oshiomhole’s presence in the Senate has strengthened oversight functions and enriched legislative discourse, especially on matters of accountability and transparency.
Dekeri also pays tribute to Executive Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo for his sustained SHINE Agenda across Edo State. He noted that Edo is now shining not because we lacked resources previously but the state now has a leader who balanced genuine infrastructure with stomach infrastructure which acts as lubricants in sustaining grassroot inclusiveness in political setting.
Dekeri therefore urged other political leaders to emulate what he described as the Governor’s dedication to robust and constructive progress in governance since November 2024.
Senator Oshiomhole, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been active in Senate proceedings since assuming office, frequently contributing to discussions on economic reforms, governance, and institutional accountability.
